2012-01-01 to 10th - in George Town, Exumas

Happy New Year.  This entry is a bit of a catch-up.  Roxy and Robert arrived on January 1st and were with us until the 10th.  It was a fabulous time and we really enjoyed all the days together.  Fitting in the blog just wasn't happening as the days were just too full.  Here is just a sampling of  pictures of what we did throughout the 10 days.....enjoy!

This little fella was underneath the boat the first morning!  We swam with him
and I snapped this picture.  Check out the teeth!

This little Ghost Crab entertained us at the beach.  They are quick to scurry and
their eyes poke out of the sand to see if you are gone.  Very cute!

Happy 8th Birthday Connor!

Robert finds a treasure under the boat.

I think Roxy won this posing contest!

Connor and Robert go spear fishing.  Didn't catch anything but they loved
the experience.  Connor demonstrates his pole spear handling!

Snapped a picture of a rare mermaid!

Robert hunting!
A hike on top of Stocking island.  It was quite the trek ending on a steep incline
at the end where you use a rope to climb down!

Exploring rocks and holes on our hike.

Roxy experiences 'boater hygeine'!

Swimming with the dolphins.  They had a chance to jump in and swim
with Nikki and her babies (regular dolphins in the harbour).  It was amazing!  Connor
was thrilled that they came within 2 feet of him and did some acrobatics.  He
was also excited that they 'smiled' at him as they did it.

The entrance to Lake Victoria to pick up groceries and water in Georgetown.

Roxy experiences the stingray swimming between her legs on the beach

Beach Church happens every Sunday on the Chat n Chill beach!
Toes in the sand and kids sit in the tree to listen to volunteer boaters
giving a nice message.

Saying 'Good bye' the last day!
